Janna prides herself on injecting conservatively so that clients look rested and refreshed. She also believes in finding a nutritional balance to optimize whole body wellness. Janna has lived in the trenches of poor diet, high stress, inflammation, illness and weight fluctuations. For years, Janna normalized what she was doing to her body, rationalized the time between poor health and a day when she could begin taking care of herself. Janna began her personal journey nearly 10 years ago while balancing her husband and children, a part-time job and full-time graduate school. The grab-n-go diet, lack of movement, little sleep and increasing stress nearly derailed her whole person.

She has since learned that food should be used as a healing tool and uncovered the key to wellness, balancing life and nutrition.

Ashley Loogman - Yoga Instructor

“Let the beauty we love be what we do.” -Rumi
Ashley LoogmanYoga has transformed my life and continues to be a journey that reveals territories of my soul that I have never had the courage to explore. 8 years ago I took my first yoga class at home and with my mother and it wasn’t the best yoga class in the world, but it opened up my eyes and I was hooked. Life became very very busy for me and yoga slowly started dissipating from my life, then 3 years ago I took a Yoga PE class at Stan State and my passion was rekindled. Without the intensive yoga and climbing routine I had settled into, I never would have been able to make it through the exhaustive geology program I was completing.
A year and a bit ago, I began a job for a junior mining company in Mariposa. At first I loved my job…then I started to hate it. I wasn’t treated with respect, the environment wasn’t treated with respect, and I stopped respecting myself. I became lost in my “career” and no longer recognized myself, my goals in life, or really anything. It was work all the time, work… and money… lots of money. Then the job was done. I finally had time to adventure! I spent the rest of the warm season backpacking, mountain biking, and rediscovering my inner beauty and strength. I finally made it back to Warrior Yoga and then my real journey began. I decided to become a yoga instructor in September 2016 and decided to enroll in the 8 week Core Power Yoga teacher training. This has been quite a journey, I have grown into places of myself I didn’t know I would be able to touch again. I am working toward my full potential and I can’t wait to see how teaching continues my personal growth. In my classes, you can expect sweaty OM-azing fun with some quiet introspective moments. I am grateful to be welcomed into this beautiful community and can’t wait
to introduce and encourage my students to their own edge while surrounded by comfortable
surroundings and an inclusive community.
I can’t wait to SEE you!
Namaste,
Ash Loogman

Passionate about yoga, her journey began in 2013 on the advice of her primary care physician due to chronic hip pain. Yoga changed her life. After the first class she was hooked and began to adopt a yogic lifestyle. Monica enjoys a variety of styles including Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative and Yin. She believes that embracing all forms of yoga creates balance between the body, mind and spirit, centering and grounding, enabling a deeper connection with other human beings. Committed to coaching others, she has been teaching the Anatomy and Physiology course in the I AM YOGA teacher training program for a couple of years. Initially, she became a certified yoga instructor to strengthen her knowledge as a Yoga Anatomy teacher but the life-changing quality of the training transformed her thirst for knowledge into a desire to teach.

When you take a yoga class from Monica you will be encouraged to embrace yourself by listening to your body, being present and letting go of what no longer serves you. She brings grace and gratitude to the mat, meeting each person, where they are, at that moment in time. Throughout her guided practice you will connect with your breathe and leave the outside world at the door.

Beyond yoga, Monica is married, a mother of two, works as a nurse in education for a Northern California health care system and is a Wellness Coach with Valley Naturopathic Doctors. She loves to explore healthy foods and cook, is a sucker for hats, scarves and artisan jewelry and enjoys playing in her garden.
